It is probably safe to assume that billions of people have heard the name of Jesus Christ. Do you realize that a decision is made each time we hear the name Jesus? The following choices are some of the most frequently mentioned:

  • Jesus never existed.

  • Jesus was only a man.

  • Jesus was a good man.

  • Jesus was only a religious figure from the past.

  • Jesus was only a famous prophet.

  • Jesus is real, but I don't know Him.

  • Jesus is the Son of God.

  • Jesus died on a cross to save the world.

Have you wondered why talking about Jesus stirs such emotion in people?  The mere mention of His name stirs great controversy.  C.S. Lewis once wrote,

"A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic -- on a level with the man who says he is a poached egg -- or else he would be the Devil of Hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God; or else a madman or something worse. You can shut Him up for a fool, you can spit at Him and kill Him as a demon; or you can fall at his feet and call Him Lord and God. But let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about His being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to."

Wouldn't you like to know the simple truth that millions have come to recognize?

Please carefully consider the following verses from the Bible:

Romans 3:23

Romans 6:23

John 3:3

John 14:6
